The different ways you can build navigation in apps.
You can allow users to navigate to different screens in a variety of ways:
Tabs
Using Collection items
Using Components
Tabs
Tabs are the main and most straightforward way you can present screens to users. Tabs on mobile live at the bottom of your app. In the web app, they can can live in two places: at the top of your app or in the left sidebar. You can change their position in the web app at any time from the appearance settings in the top right of the Layout Editor.
You can hide or show tabs based on User Profile data by setting Visibility Conditions.
Using Visibility Conditions to hide tabs is not a security feature. You should not rely on them to hide tabs with sensitive information from users. Read this article to learn about Row Owners, a secure way to restrict access to certain rows.
