Meta Pixel

Passively track user activity in Facebook Ads Manager. Formerly known as Facebook Pixel.

Meta Pixel (formerly called Facebook Pixel) is a snippet of JavaScript code that allows you to track visitor activity on your website. Adding the Meta Pixel integration to a Glide app creates user observability in that live app.

Adding the Integration

To use the integration, you will first need to have a Meta account with Ads Manager enabled. You can create multiple Pixel IDs in the dashboard. Locate the ID you want to use in Glide by navigating to Ads Manager > Events Manager > Data Sources, then selecting the ID from the list on the left.

  1. In Glide, click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations tab and then select Meta Pixel.

  3. Click the Add button.

  4. Copy the Pixel ID you want to use from the Ad Manager dashboard.

  5. Paste the ID into Glide.

  6. Click away to exit the configuration.

Tracking User Activity with Meta Pixel

The Meta Pixel integration will run in the background on live apps, tracking user activity. There are no actions or features that need to be triggered by users. Data will be collected passively and appear in the Ads Manager dashboard.
